From ambition to innovation
Back in 2009, FOG System was born from a customer’s request to develop and manufacture a pump set for high-pressure misting. This marked the beginning of a journey filled with innovation and growth.
In 2010, our work expanded to include the production of piping. A customer inquiry about whether we could also supply piping alongside the pump sets led to new discoveries. After extensive research, we had special blocks with cutting rings manufactured. This addition enabled us to offer complete systems. As a result, between 2010 and 2014, we supplied systems with cutting ring couplings to various installers and growers. While these systems were functional, we saw potential in speeding up the assembly work. This prompted us to think about better and more efficient solutions.
From 2014 onwards, we focused more on the development of the systems. We introduced welding of nozzle holders on 10mm pipes. Initially, we did this manually, but soon we collaborated with a supplier to have a welding machine developed. For the main pipes, we began using welded nipples with threads, allowing for easy on-site assembly. These innovations once again increased the efficiency and quality of our systems.
In 2020, we introduced the EASY-FIX nozzle holders with a hexagonal design. This idea came about after we frequently noticed that nozzles were often misaligned with our competitors. With EASY-FIX, we provided a solution that was not only functional but also easy to install. At the same time, we introduced the Easy-press couplings for main pipes, a method that combines speed and quality and is ideal for export markets. This period was characterised by rapid growth and further professionalisation.
In 2023, we took a significant step by manufacturing everything in-house and becoming a total supplier of the complete misting system. With the introduction of CNC lathes and the transition to Easy-press couplings, we increased our production capacity and quality. An innovative addition was the PE clip, which prevents nozzles from twisting. This development highlights our commitment to perfection and customer satisfaction.
